OUR OPERATIONS are integrated from orchards to sales. That means we control the quality of the product from the time it is picked from our trees to the moment it is loaded onto your truck. Because our fruit is consolidated at several shipping points, we can provide the product you need at the location most convenient for you.
Our orchards are located in Washington, Oregon and California, where the primary source of pears are commercially grown. Our California orchards are on lands once owned by John Sutter, at whose mill gold was first discovered. We grow pears in the rich, fertile soil of the Rogue Valley in Oregon, considered the top Bosc and Comice growing region in the world. Our red and golden delicious apples come from Washington’s Chelan region, located in the heart of the Cascades and known worldwide for its luscious fruit.
We have centralized packing operations — one in Medford, Oregon and one in Marysville, California.
Each packing house is characterized by efficient equipment enabling our experienced staff to handle all product quickly, giving careful attention to grade and size. All commodities are available with PLU stickers.
We have developed diverse packing styles to suit the changing demands of today’s market and continually maintaining controlled atmosphere storage rooms to accomodate expanding production. In Oregon, we have approximately 225,000 square feet of cold storage, freezer storage and controlled atmosphere storage.
