RED DELICIOUS: Grown in the Chelan District of North Central Washington. The Red Delicious is the most widely grown apple in the world. It is red with darker red streaks and has a sweet, juicy and crisp yellow flesh. This apples is excellent for eating out of hand and in salads.
GOLDEN DELICIOUS: Grown in the Chelan District of North Central Washington. It is yellow and has a sweet, juicy and crisp white and good in salads.
GRANNY SMITH: Exploding in popularity because of its versatality, the Granny is prized for making pies and tarts, and is a great out-of-hand snack.
BRAEBURN: Small to medium in size with red on green skin, the Braeburn is firm, crisp, juicy, mildly sweet and aromatic.
GALA: A small to medium, oval apple with striped pale to golden yellow skin, the Gala is sweet and aromatic with a fine, juicy texture.
SENSHU: Senshu a mid-season Japanese apple. It is medium-sized, striped red and is somehat similar to Fuji in taste.
RED CHIEF and SCARLET SPUR: These varieties are grown on rich Washington soils.
